Marble House Eatery is located on the 2nd floor of Crystal Mall and offers dim sum in the morning and ayce hot pot for dinner (not to mention a Chinese bbq option). Our first visit was for their dim sum service. If you order congee here, you actually get to heat it up tableside. The rest of the dishes we had (including salt and pepper squid, siu mai, beef rice rolls, tripe) were pretty good but dishes are prepared a bit differently. On our ayce hot pot visit, I found that they're generous with their meat servings. Many times they brought more than what we ordered. The prime rib was good and I like the ayce option as you can try a bunch of different things. Did notice that many times we ordered things that never showed up though. And just because it's ayce, it's not necessary cheap as items add up. I think the price was about $35 per person plus cost for soup and add-ons like some dipping sauce ingredients... But overall, worth the visit (even with the horrendous parking lot in Crystal Mall) Update: revisit in December for dim sum. It's very loud during dim sum. They have a congee station where they cook up all the congee orders in the dining space now which probably contributes to the noise. UPDATE - July 2025: Dim sum prices now seem to be fairly reasonable with most items being under $10. Plus we got free lychee jello for ordering > $40 and free frozen bbq pork buns for ordering > $50. The truffle siu mai and beef rice roll with coriander were both fragrant and large dishes. The bean curd roll was wrapped a little too loose and fell apart easily.

My favorite place for hot pot! I had been to other hot pot restaurants that were more expensive than Marble house but I still like this place the best. So much varieties and ordering is so much easier after they switched to tablet. Their servers are all pretty friendly I never had any issues with this place and love coming back. Recently we tried their lunch hour for dim sum and again it was a very good experience. Lots of varieties yet so much better pricing than your typical dim sum restaurants. Nowadays people seem to have forgotten how dim sum started - it's supposed to be like a local restaurant nothing fancy, very casual, yet tasty. Most dim sum restaurants unfortunately are all going for fancy interiors and "creative" dim sums so that they can charge customers more. I was happy that Marble house dim sum reminded me of the good old experience not to mention their portion is good! Our family enjoyed the dim sum lunch very much and already looking forward to the next visit!

nice chill place with supportive staff that help you along the way if it's your first time. It's a super solid all you can eat hotpot place that my family enjoys coming to. I highly recommend this place. They also have good lunch sets that I haven't gotten around to trying but the lunch sets are super cheap for what looks like is actually good quality for what you spend.

Marble House Eatery is located inside crystal mall. There is space for big groups, and booth seating. This restaurant offers a different menu depending on the time of day. They have dim sum, a lunch menu, and all you can eat hotpot. I tried their hotpot and dim sum it was great. It was around $58 for hotpot and you will order off a tablet. There is also a table that has dessert, more food items, and a sauce making area. It's a pretty unique restaurant because they are catering to a variety of tastes for their customer base.

Parking is inside Crystal mall.First time there and loved the value! They have a bbq duck lunch box for 9.99 too! I only knew about the AYCE hotpot but was surprised to find that they have a variety of things from congee. Dim sum, noodles, rice, and other classic Cantonese dishes! We each ordered the two meat rice combo. You can select from bbq pork, bbq duck soy chicken, hainan chicken, empress chicken and more! We tried the bbq duck and hainan chicken and soy chicken. Very well seasoned and flavoured- you don’t need to dip it into the sauce to rely on that flavour. It was tender and and skin is nice and crispy. Theres still fat in it as it’s not rendered completely, but only for the price point- who can complain? It as around $17.99 per person. Lot of meat too. There’s a nice plum sauce that’s used to pair with the duck too! We did an add on for the extra duck thigh~ Will come back again and try other foods.

Was at Crystal Mall getting some groceries and walked by this restaurant with a sign advertising lunch deal. So decided to take out since its almost lunch time at 11am. Got the curry beef brisket on rice. $9.99 and comes with a lemon tea drink is a great deal. The brisket could be a bit softer though. The flavor is . They give lots of rice. The amount of meat is ad much as some food courts out there which charges $15-$18. I would definitely come back and try the duck (doesnt come with drink though). Overall its worth it for what you pay.

Marble House Eatery in Crystal Mall in Burnaby. I think this is my new favourite Chinese Fast Food Noodle House. I ordered the Chicken Claypot Rice, Shrimp Cheung Fun, & Beef Congee. At first I thought to myself what the heck am I doing here fighting the crazy crowds of people on a Friday. But after eating here - no regrets. The Cheung Fun was very similar to Hei Hei’s in Richmond Public Market - although I think Hei Hei is still a bit better - but I would still come here as it’s closer for me than Richmond. The Truffle Chicken Claypot rice was so tasty and had a beautiful crispy bottom. If you don’t like Truffles, then this isn’t for you. The Congee was silky smooth. Everything came out piping hot in about 15-20 minutes. You self order using an iPad and they bring you the food. They cook the Congee and Claypot dishes in the dining area so you can watch. Tea was included and the prices were so reasonable - cheaper than a lot of places in Vancouver and Richmond. Service was good - typical of these kind of casual Chinese diners. Highly recommend . Dim Sum was good with big portions and reasonably priced.
